Coriant released new version of SDN transmission controller

The optical transmission system vendors Coriant has released new Transcend SDN transmission controller. The product supports multi-layer, multi-vendor environments, committed to multi-layer optimization and interoperability standards-based service to simplify network operations, support faster service provisioning, improved resource utilization. This product is an upgraded version of last year's devaluation Coriant SDN transmission controller. The main characteristics of the new product include:

* By supporting IETF RESRCONF interfaces and YANG model number voice to support more efficient business exchange.

* New automatic and programmable service provision and management capabilities, including SLA monitoring and user-defined SLA parameters to achieve a more convenient service provider.

* Fault light layer of a multilayer perception PCE path computation unit improved resource utilization. Operators can now deploy resources according to the service request and SLA parameters.

* As the network of virtual and variable levels of network abstraction to implement flexible network segmentation.

Coriant company CTO Uwe Fischer noted that a multi-vendor environment, resulting in a lack of effective exchange operators could not face a large-capacity low-cost dynamic business needs. The new version of the SDN transmit controller gives users a simple, programmable, the actual demand for the SDN tools.

Coriant indicates that the SDN controller has been deployed to the customer's network test run.
